The challenge was to curate a branding system for a whiskey company that embraced the rapid change of the industrial revolution, and still remained true to its agrarian roots. I was inspired by the tools and machines used during the early industrial revolutions, and imagery from that time. I wanted to explore and emphasize the overlap of the traditional work that farmers do, and the machines they adopted to make life better
Iron & Grain isnt just a spirit company, but American heritage distilled in the heart of the industrial revolution. We embraced the rapid change of industrial processes, and always remained true to our agrarian roots. Each bottle is a celebration of our forefathers who turned raw materials into a lasting legacy, and the smooth, balanced flavor of our whiskey can attest to that.
